A plastic surgeon, is a graduate of the 1st Medical School at Charles University in Prague. In addition to the private Clinic of plastic surgery Esthé, which he co-owns and where he specializes namely in cosmetic surgery, he has been working since 1998 at the Clinic of plastic surgery of the Faculty Hospital Bulovka. He´s been its chief physician to this day. He is also an indispensable part of the Center for complex surgical care for women with breast disease team at the Faculty Hospital Bulovka. He is one of the most successful plastic surgeons in the field of breast reconstruction in women who underwent mastectomy in relation to breast cancer. Simultaneously, MUDr. Urban performs the function of an assistant at the 1st Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague, where involved in all of its activities. During his studies and experience he gained attestation of general surgery and plastic surgery, including the Czech Medical Chamber license in these fields. Holds a certificate of professional competence in aesthetic surgery, as well as a certificate for working with lasers, implants and injectable applications of botulinum toxin, and others. He graduated from the many study visits and internships in the UK, Italy, Switzerland and other countries. He is a member of the following companies: • Society of Plastic Surgery ČLS JEP • Society of Aesthetic Surgery ČLS JEP • The International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS).
Personal decision for accepting the participation in the jury:
"After getting to know the details of the competition, I was interested not only in the exciting stories of the women interviewed, but also in the idea to highlight the primarily psychological beauty of a woman, her inner strength, courage and energy. In my field I meet with many beautiful women, but I know that only the physical beauty isn´t enough. Therefore, I gladly accepted the opportunity to be involved in the evaluation of these women, encourage their creative abilities and courage to succeed in business. Our society needs to present examples and models for future generations. Especially women who have achieved anything in life are to be applauded because they are carriers of several roles."
